CEROD Extension

A perpetual source code license for the Compressed and Encrypted Read-Only Database (CEROD) extension to SQLite costs US $2000.00. This is a one-time fee that enables you to ship as many copies of the code as you want as long as each copy is compiled and statically linked with your application.

A perpetual source code license authorizes you to create multiple products that use CEROD as long as all products are developed and maintained by the same team. For the purposes of this paragraph, a "team" is a work unit where everybody knows each others names. If you are in a large company where this product is used by multiple teams, then each team should acquire their own separate license.

After you purchase a license, we will send you a username and password that lets you log in to the CEROD source code repository at https://sqlite.org/cerod/login. You can download the latest CEROD source code and view the documentation whenever you like.

The CEROD extension is provided as source code only. You are responsible for compiling the code and building it into your product. If you can compile your application using the the public domain version of SQLite then you will have no difficulty compiling CEROD.

The perpetual source code license for CEROD does not include technical support. If you need assistance in compiling or using CEROD technical support is available separately. You do not have to purchase technical support at the same time that you acquire your source code license. Many users begin with a source code license then purchase technical support later if and when they need it.
