[email gateway] Confusing authorship on edited posts

I received by email the post https://sqlite.org/forum/forumpost/a4097ed6a9 which had apparently been edited. Instead of showing the original author details the forum confusingly claimed otherwise:

Hi Dan,
Yes, the corrupted DB is the same every time.
I modified the VFS to set a sw breakpoint when the offset corresponds to the cor
rupted zone.
It looks like the data is "generated" by `pager_write_pagelist()`. Screenshot wi
th the stack frame and data can be found in <https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkNyZuYZUo8xumh
WdCsHHajf3udU?e=H6GD0e>
I will continue to investigate, but if you have an idea where I should look plea
se let me know.
Rares.

Perhaps the original authorship info should be retained and the editor information added in the signature?

yes, I would second this as a problem too have noticed and have been confused by it. I received a series of posts by DRH that were obviously not from Richard. I am assuming Richard edited or posted those messages to this forum either picking them up from the mailing list, or editing something in them. As a result, the original authorship was obfuscated (phew, I've wanted to use that word for a while now)
