Thanks for confirming that it works. The error I am getting is: syntax error near "'flower' I re-tried my code in Excel VBA where it works. I investigated further and the problem is with APL not being able to transmit the concatenation operator correctly to ADODB. I do not see a 'wish-list' in this forum; I wonder if a future SQLite release might offer the CONCAT function.
