Hi. David. AFAIK, autovacuum return pages back to OS at the time of commiting the transaction. So every time a transaction commits, it will check whether there're valid pages in the end of file can be relocated (swapped with free pages ?) and thus truncated, right ? It will not guarantee that every commit will results in such truncation, right ?
