"Add up a hundred 1e-4 epsilons, and you get a possible 1e-2 error. That is basic math" I'm not sure this is right. These epsilons do not all have the same sign, so some will cancel out. I did study this stuff (about error propagation) but that was 50 years ago and I've forgotten it all now. Suggest you consult a mathematician.
