Dang it... I *still* had it wrong. BETWEEN is not weaker than == it's the same, it's just that it's left to right and I didn't do an experiment with == on the other side. That rule is in the doc, just down there further... I just missed it. Really, a single illustration for the precedence would be very helpful. That's all I'm saying.
