You are being advised to go to the docs first and here for clarification or features that are insufficiently discoverable. When such deficiencies become apparent here, the docs are often improved to remedy them. But when questions are readily answered by pointing to easily found topics in the docs, that begins to resemble an inefficient use of time, both yours and that of people here (such as Ryan) who are very willing to help.
